New to sight

Don't ride anymore but have been elected as the family mechanic because I once did. Found my grandsons 1987 FXS in my shop with a note saying won't start grandpa. Can you fix it?

But if ya weed through all that there's ton's of great info.

I doubt I'll have that problem, by the time my Grandson can ride a Harley, he should be able to fix it.

Not just posing, either. Watched him snug it down and finish with a torque wrench. My 1200's primary cover was put on by a 5 year old!

At 5, my son put a wind up alarm clock back together after I threw it against the wall for not alarming. There were a few parts left over but it was ticking. I said oh God, he's going to be a mechanic too. -- true story. He is now an ASE master tech.
