When I traded in my iron I was strongly thinking about getting a street glide solely because I wanted the stereo system but I'm 26 and wasn't ready for that size bike just yet ... My question is who has added some speakers to their dyna and what setup did you go with ? I don't like the look of those pods attached to the handle bars ... Are there any other options ??
I made a fiberglass tube with 4 speakers facing me and put it inside a bedroll. The "waterproof" amp fried the first time I washed the bike. If I do it again I will probably just use pvc/mdf.
Is this for your benefit, or so others can hear your tunes? If just you, then my only answer only applies if you wear a helmet. I have Bluetooth kits in all three of my helmets. A SMH10 on my Shoei RF-1200, another sena kit (I can't remember the model of) on my akoury half, and a built in kit on my Nolan N44.
I use the half the most, and the sena in it is probably the best sounding of them all for whatever reason. They're great for tunes, and gives the added benefit (or drawback?) of being able to answer your phone while riding.
This all depends on whether you have a Bluetooth phone, and again, wear a helmet of course.
That's nice I setup you have, I have a clear windshield tho ... And it's for me but I don't want to worry about the helmet or headphones I just wanna be able to get on the bike and not worry about making sure things are charged or my headphones are sitting right in my ears and so on ... After riding with my buddy and his street glide I really want one lol
Get a portable Bluetooth speaker. There are tons on the market in various sizes. You can then mount that anywhere you can find a spot or even use some velcro and plant one on your tank. Skies the limits since these are wireless and small where I'm sure you can find a place to tuck it in.

That's actually not a terrible idea but two things I could see being a pita with them ( finding one loud enough and two always remembering to barge it but that is a route I can look into thank you )
