Default 4 months into LR

I've had my 15 L Rider for about 4 months now , not been able to get out much with commitments i've had , and only just started to put some miles on it , done 4000 klm 3000 in the last 4 weeks ,,

I have 2 other bikes , i had a rocket tourer for long distance stuff and a v strom for hooning around the hills , , I've got to say they have not been used , i'm finding after the rocket being my main bike for years , the LR is so light and nimble i can throw it around the hills easir or just has easy has the v strom , Went on a 700 klm trip last weekend and while the LR was'nt ideal , i know a decent set of shocks , comfy seat and a screen would set this bike up to be a very comfortable tourer for a single rider ,, 2 up you could'nt beat the rocket ,,, I'm really thinking seriously now of selling the other two , getting the quick release screen , bags and bits and peices for the low rider and just keeping one bike .

I have been told Hagon shocks are really good , anyone confirm this , On a side note , my mate bought the LR on the same day has me , he put on the vance hince pipes , i put on the nightstick , his were too loud , obnoxious even ,, mine had a nice rumble but too quiet ,, he' put bafflers in and made his sound like **** ,, I put a supertrapp end on mine and it sounds PEEERFCT ,,, not obnoxious at lights ,,, no constant drone and headache on long journeys ,, but really opens up with a good note when i get on the throttle ,, Few mates i ride with all say its got the perfect sound .

yes you can tour on the Low Rider. wife and I took a 2000 mile trip last September, have removable bags and a pack for the back rack, were loaded to the max, the bike handled great in the curves. I do have a sundowner seat and have progressive 444 13.5in shocks on the back and it is very comfortable to ride. hoping for a longer trip this year.

If you have an ole lady like mine, it's easy to remove bikes from the garage but much harder to add them. I would have to think long and hard about removing 1 stall from my stable.

Been looking at seats. Curious about your "removable" bags. What are they, and do you have to relocate turn signals?

yes, the dyna can really do it all, it can tour, be comfortable and still being sporty too. Eventually I think I might like to have some type of sport bike as a 2nd bike but I don't need it right now as I'm still having plenty of fun with my wide glide.

my bags are viking LAM800L mounted with easy brackets, the sissy bar bag (not pictured) is a viking BR-leather-P which holds a lot of gear, am looking for a bigger set of saddle bags for taking trips though. yes, did relocate turn signals, used a bracket from great bike gear, Dyna lay down license plate and signal bracket, very quick install and clean looking.

The Seat looks very "plush". Will check out the sissy bag. Your signal relocation looks good. I am hung up on it for some reason. Thanks for the pics.

I have the sundowner seat and almost the same backrest has you. I ordered the Viking LAM800L's the week after I purchased my wide Glide and then wasted a weekend messing with the Viking Hardware. SMH!... I received my easy bracket kit this week so hopefully this weekend I can get my bags mounted.
