I'm sure it's just the standard Low Rider frame. But why anyone would want to ugly that bike up with a crappy set of bags is beyond me.

I'm digging the SoCal look lately. Seems pretty versatile with T-Sport bags and a Rifle etc type fairing. I've heard mixed reviews on how the Rifle fairings handle the wind. I'm currently on a Slim. I'm not sure if the Softail is for me. I'm always dragging the pegs and I feel like I look like an idiot wearing a full face. Rule #1 Always look cool.

It's not too late for you. I once rode a fat boy lo with apes... Made the choice to build my FXDF out clubstyle and am super happy with it.

Good to know. I put on some Carlini Gangster's and while they're alright I still feel like I'm missing something. My arms are to wide apart and it's hard to fight the flying squirrel. Maybe I'm just hard to please but the moto bars on risers look comfy and they've got to handle better than apes. How do you like your fairing at highway speeds?

been waiting for a dyna like that for years but,Id have liked a low rider without chrome with better suspension for around $13,000.This is a bit pricey and im no fan of black with gold painted rims. The 103 would have been fine also.Sorry Harley, you priced it out of my range.

I don't really agree. Most who are really into the "club style" WILL also swap the bars, the fairing (or go fairing less) and the suspension.

At this point, besides the 110ci, i don't really know if its really worth it to get the "S" instead of a regular Low Rider.

This new "S" will get a new base of customers for sure, i think most will leave it stock.

It is still a good looking bike though.

That was my issue too. I had 16" apes that were 34" wide and I got beat like an umbrella in the wind. I always hated the look of plexiglass too, so after 45min on the Hwy I was done. With the fairing and t bars I can go all day - did 4 900km back to back days on it last summer - and I'm no iron butt. Most comfortable setup I've ever had.

The lo cornered like a tractor - I could immediately ride the dyna more aggresively and when I got a better suspension setup, the dyna is night and day vs softail.

Should've been more specific, the low rider and low rider S use the same further forward mid controls. Not mids like the Street Bob, the further forward mids push them up about 2 inches.

That would be ok, it's a factory option anyway. l think any wider would start to seriously compromise all the good things about how Dyna's handle and steer though.
