XIEDS ---- Any fellow Low Rider S'ers use the Xieds yet? If yes, how are they working out and which ones did you use?
They are a band aid. They fool the ECM into adding a little fuel across the board, but for a performance oriented bike like the LRS (IMO any Harley), get a proper tuner. For the ~$130 you'll spend, you're about a third of the way to an actual tuner where you'll get much better results even if you do nothing more then sticking with the canned maps.
I'm running V&H slip ons and no tuner and it runs fine......no issues what so ever
Same here. Mine look similar to stock, weigh nothing compared to stock and have better ground clearance. I can hear a few pops on decel that before were hushed by 40 pounds of muffler. No negative difference at all.
Well I just the S club today. Went in to the dealership to grab a Christmas present or two and was looking at the bikes, contemplating going back to the dyna platform to have a lower note and lighter bike. Wasn't sure if I truly missed the platform or just being cheap lol. Sales manager came and talked to me and set up a rest ride. Next thing I know he crunched some numbers I could deal with and here I am the owner of a 16. My road glide got paint just 2 months ago and I had to catch flack from friends at the dealership. But the bike simply blew me away. I loved my road glide and would recommend one to anyone looking to eat up miles.
I purchased this GPR head stabilizer for my low rider S. I ended up not needing it for my plans with the bike. The kit is un-used and still new in package. Never installed. If anyone is interested let me know!
