External Crankcase Vent Mod with Screamin Eagle AC
So I want to do an external crankcase vent mod and I want to make sure I'm looking at this correctly.
Bike is an 08 FXDC and the air cleaner I'm running is the Screamin Eagle Stage 1 PN 29773-02C:
Which looks like this installed:
Since I have easy access to the stock breather bolts, other than just aesthetics is there any reason I can't just remove the stock vent tubes and attach a new vent hose directly to the stock breather bolts using something like the DK Customs Discrete & Flexible Breather and a 90' elbow at each breather bolt and vent from there?
I'm not necessarily opposed to drilling and tapping the backplate but it looks like with this AC I wouldn't have to, which would allow me to leave it easily reversible for later resale of the bike.
Thoughts?

Progress 2 into 1 and seems ok like this.
10-32 thread to 1/4 line to double 1/4 to 1/8 pipe.
have a breather coming but may be leave it.
Have the throttle body crankcase inlets tapped and plugged.
