So i installed a variable preasure clutch a week ago. And havr since noticed my derby cover is leaking. Have any of u guys noticed this when installing the vpc? The instructions say to cut the center of the gasket to fit the vpc.
You can buy oem style gaskets made by James gaskets on amazon. They have the center cut out and sound like it would work for this application. Did you install a new gasket? Check your torques.
Generally when you remove a part that has a gasket that seals oils,, it's toast. You should have had a new $3 gasket at hand when you did the job,,
so,,

A new gasket, proper tightening sequence with proper torque.

Well just to respond to this I did use a new gasket that the instruction said you cut the center of and I did talk to spec 108 inch pounds in the store pattern the manual Calls for that is why I am posting to see if someone has some insight other than the obvious
