Has anyone everheard of excessive wobble at the handlebars? I will be riding downthe road and let go of the steering wheel and it will wobble, Not to the point you can not handle it, but enough to make you a bit nervous as to why. I had the tires and rims balanced about 6 months ago and really do not remember this or at least was notpaying attention.
I havefor some time had the engine with excessive vibrations init. It is as if thefront lowermotor mount is messed up andI have heardsome talk abouthaving it replaced with a new one for some reasonand Harley paid for it. I have tried this with the local Stealer and well I would be better off jumpinginto the ocean and pretending Icould surviveunderwater forever. SoI ordered one myself will re-align the motor per the book and install thenew motor mount, hoping that this mayfix thehandlebar wobble/vibrations. Not sure, Icould be hoping up a creek, but whatelse it could be I am not sure. Help.
Thanks for your time.
Sorry about the "Steering Wheel" part. Dam talk about dumb me. Ha HA
I appreciate the help guys. I will be doing the front motor mount this next week and see what that does. Poly bushings is another good idea. Might just have to try that.
Again, Thanks for taking the time.

If it was wobbling before that, you probably would have noticed it as you did this time. I would re balance the wheels and see where that goes, at least the front one. Can you see any adhesive where the weight may have been thrown off on the wheel? Tire mounted in the proper direction?

How old is the front tire.
Front tire wear will cause this. Every bike I've ever owned, once my tires are about two thirds worn, will wobble a bit in the front if you let go of the handlebars. New tires, wobble gone. I don't let it bother me.
stanger I would start with youre wheels.....I know you just had them built and powder coated, but it sounds like a wheel issue.........poly bushings with help with vibration, but not wobble...motor mount will do the same..........You should be able to let go of the bars at a 100 and be fine........I dont think that a motor mount would cause wobble......how does the bike feel at idle?.........................later LOLIFE............................................ ...................................
