Finally ordered the Boss saddelbags I've been wanting - hopefully get them on in time for Laconia.
Anyone who has installed Boss before - any "gotcha's" I should know about?
I also bought their lay-down license plate with turn signals - to relocate (I like the look of it).
I was wondering if the lid of the bag will hit my Sundowner seat - that is an incredibly comfortable seat, but kind of ugly & big, and tends to get in the way of stuff.
I didn't / don't have blinkers on my Dyna. I got the bags delivered to work and was able to install them on my 1/2 hour lunch break. It'll definitely take longer with the blinker relocation.
With the stock seat the lid travel was affected slightly. Not a big deal though.
