Was wondering if anyone has seen the new 35th anniversary superglide yet at their local HD shop? So far I have just seen pics and was wanting some feedback on what it looks like and maybe what they had for a price? THX mojo
Our dealer has one. Looks just like the pictures. Not sure what the price was, but our dealer is retail on all bikes so I would guess this one to be about that.
The rear fender is not true to the 1971 Superglide. It is just a standard Dyna fender.
Yep, I see that it doesn't have the 1971 bob fender but that part doesn't bother me as I personally like the standard dyna fender that's on it better anyway. The dealer near me said he will get 1 and only 1 so I doubt they will be around long with only 3500 made. All Harleys are a good investment in my book and this one looks like it would definetly be a good investment and a fun ride. Just wish I could see one and get some details verse just seeing a pic. If anyone else has any insight on this bike I would appreciate the feedback. THX mojo
My dealer has one, but already sold it. It was $800 over list. It looks very sweet. Essentially, i think it's really a lowrider with cool paint and an emblem on the battery cover and gas can. But the paint and graphic looked cool, it reminded me of the evel kneivel stunt cycle i had as a kid!
I hope poeple are not paying much over MSRP thinking that they are going to be collectors items or investments. In 5 years they will be just like all the other Anniversary/Commorative/Special Edition bikes that Harley has came out with. They will be just another used motorcycle.
Our dealer has two, both at list...I belive:> I like them, I really do. I dig the old style seat vibe. I considere doen for a moment, then thought nah, kinda novelty (for me) that would soon wear off. I do really like the color scheme, and I don;t like white bikes! I agree, EK looking in a way.
I don't care for it. In fairness I don't like the original either. Back to the new model, the H-D graphic on the tank looks like it was put on crooked. To each his own.
