Went in to the dealer the other day.....

I went in to the dealer the other day, and looked at all the new '06's sitting on the floor and when I looked at the superglides, I personally thought they all looked really BAD!!! I personally think they look way out of proportion with the big forks, and they all looked like they needed to be lowered in the rear and have a solo seat! The only '06 that I really like is the Street Glide, and they're so hard to get right now! They're sold before they even hit the floor!

My recommendation is to find a "left over" '05 Superglide, or get with a FLT Standard or Street Glide.

I'm with ya on that 05! Add in the additional maitinence with the 06 six speed and the 05 looks better all the time.

You can get an 05 with a CV carburetor

One of the reasons I went on and bought mine

I must agree with this thread I actualy found an 04 left over saved about 2500 bucks and they threw in forward controls. I got the FI and im not sure how I feel about it yet. Never had it before. The one thing I do Like about the 06 is the fatter rear tire.

I looked at an 06 dyna before I bought my bike. I dont like the rear fender. I love the bob fender look myself and I think the ruined a great thing by switching to the honda lookin rear fender. Just my opinion.

I am glad I got an 05 Low Rider. I like the FX front end with smaller tubes and eyebrow. I like where the ignition is located, I like the rake and length. I wanted mag wheels. I am glad I have the old style mag wheels because I think the new ones are ugly.
