Is there any specific website that has specialty swingarm kits for Dyna models alone? I noticed that there is Heartland USA for soft tails so I thought that there might be a site for Dynas. Also I have been having problems with my rear brakes sticking on my Dyna. Is there a certain spring that may not be connected or perhaps somewhere I need to grease so this does not happen anymore? Thanks, BUH
I don't know of anyone that does dyna modelsonly, but Hogpro has a 240 kit for the dyna. Mike Reese (a forum Member)has the kit on his bike, and it's in the Hogpro picture section. I hope he doesn't mind me using his name, but it's one of the best lookinglow ridersI've ever seen. The pic on Hogpro's website doesn't do the bike justice. He sent me a couple of pics a while back, andI'm going to try and add them to this post. I haven't had a lot success posting pics, so bear with me.
Biff, They (Hog Pro) have other kits also for dyna's like a 200 kit but there are not any dyna specific sites.
If your brakes are sticking, two things to check would be to grease the slide pins and make sure the pistons are not hanging up. Pins you can do much easier then taking calipers apart to get to the pistons so try that first.
Hey Mike,I really hate to use someone else's name without asking, and hoped you wouldn't mind. I still have the info (printed it out), you sent me about using the JP pulley with that kit. I still plan to do the swap, but just haven't had the time. I wasn't blowin' smoke. I still believe your's is one ofthe bestlooking low ridersI've seen. Good to see you here, and thanks for theinfo.
