Bought some used screaming Eagle slip ons last night on Craigslist. Pulled the baffle and removed the cats. Sounds good. I'll probably end up buying a thunderheader by the end of the year.

If you do the Thunderheader, I'd think about putting that plate back to horizontal. I think it was the same year they passed the motorcycle anti-tampering act (basically no more full exhaust systems in Ca), they also changed the wording on plate location requirements. Seems silly, I know, but the new plate readers can't, or have trouble reading vertical plates.

Now I never really have head of anyone getting hassled with a full pipe replacement, I try not to give the po-po any reason to have a look at my bike... Here in Petaluma, I hear they will stop you for that vertical plate.

The re-worked slip on do sound nice. Cleaning looking bike, too.... The two tone is rad.

I think that bike took the first place trophy also. Bike had alot of stuff done to it.

That's my jacket not a blanket. I do have a roll up blanket that looks almost like it that goes on my bagger.

License plate is what ever. It's a really bad design.
