There is a 2004 (silver) Dyna Super Glide for sale locally with 27000kms (16000mi) on it and the seller is asking $6200CAD which I may be wanting to take a look at. I would like to know if (other than the cam chain tensioner) there are any issues with this bike I should know about? Thanks in advance.
Only thing you'll find is that 04-05 frames were made those years only, and some things like pipes, seats, sissy bars and such are hard to come by. Yea there's options and upgrades, just not nearly as many as the 06 and up. If I'd know that then, I would've looked for an 06 Up.

I own an '04 FXD and have had zero problems. Have done the standard upgrades and run Amsoil from axle to axle since break in. At that price man I'd say go for it.

Good to hear. Waiting for the seller to get it out of winter storage then will go see it. From the pics I've seen, it looks to be stock and the price doesn't seem to be out of line for this area.
All about what you're looking for. I own an 04 WG, and aside from the availability of certain parts mentioned above, haven't had any serious issues. Hell, even the stock tensioners look near mint for the age and 38k miles. If it's a good deal, and you like it, pull the trigger.
My '04 Low Rider has been a solid bike. I think it had 15,000 miles when I bought it 3 years ago and now has 22,000. The only thing the '04-05 frame caused was a great price on the discontinued and therefore highly discounted aftermarket seat. I wouldn't trade it for a newer bike.
