I just received a custom ordered bungking riser..which seems very sturdy and nice. But the inside is all rusted. Is this normal? Just wondering what other users have experienced.. I am a bit worried about rust affecting durability. Waiting to hear back from Bungking, but thought inputs from other members would be helpful
thank you for the quick reply.. thats what i thought.. i will wait for bungking to reply back and request a proper new one.. will keep you posted
Agreed that you should not have recieved risers in that condition... That being said I had a great experience with customer service when I ordered my risers from him, and I'm sure he'll make it right.

I know this thread is a little old. I am considering a set of bungking’s risers also. Reviews on their risers seem to be really good, though I haven’t found anything said about their customer service and quoted wait times for making up an ordered part. Just curious as to what the end result was with your rusted risers.
thanks for any feedback!

Reason: spelling error
Unless you plan to keep them for 20+ years I wouldn't give it a second thought. I've had 60+ year old vehicles with exposed steel parts that are still perfectly serviceable. If it really bugs you dump some rust converter in them.
Unless they intend to supply parts that are plated inside and out (extremely doubtful based on that photo) you might get clean steel but it will still rust over time.
Look inside your frame tubes. They're rusty.
