I am looking to get a set a quick release side plates for my sissy bar on my 2003 Wide Glide... It seems all the ones I have found mount in the rear at the turn signal,, which requires removing the turn signals, splicing the wires, and putting the mounting hardware between the signal and strut.. Is there one made that uses the mounting hole behind the signals for the mounting hardware without removing the turn signals? Thanks

 

You don't cut and splice wires,, you just un-plug them,, feed them through the hole and plug'm back in.

 

ok thanks,,, I have not took it apart and looked at it yet,,, I just know that all the hardware kits include splicing material, And looking at the installation instructions on the Harley hardware kit it says to cut the wires and splice them back together
