I have an 07 super glide that the previous owner installed a quick release backrest on and the turn signals were still in the stock location. I ended up putting a relocation kit on it anyways so I could put bigger saddlebags on it. I got this kit http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...-11-6873302--1 . I found it for cheaper on ebay
When I installed the quick detach backrest, the relocation kit I used didn't actually move the lights to a different location, rather just deleted the stalks. It basically turns the signals into the docking hardware.

I used the same relocation kit on my '01 SG. It was easy to install and looks good, however you will have to drill a hole in your fender for the wires to feed through.

Mine already had an extra hole in the fender under the stock license plate bracket. It had a plastic plug in it that I took out and fed the wires through when I installed the new license plate bracket that came with the relocation kit.

No such luck for me...no extra holes...it took me an extra few hours and another couple of beers just deciding if I wanted to go that far. Finally, I decided that I wanted the lights relocated more than I didn't want to drill into my fender.
Another unexpected benefit of installing this kit was realized when I had to lay it down on a wet road a few weeks back. The bike slid along the road on the left side then flipped over on the right side before stopping...the lights were destroyed but the other typical road damage was minimized with the lights and engine guard taking the brunt of the damage. I replaced the light housings and lenses and I was back in business...
