I have had that same seat on two different wideglides. Longest trip was 5000 miles over two weeks with longest day of just under 800 miles. The first one I bought in 03 for the 03 WG I had at the time. I thought the stock seat was OK but my wife hated the passenger seat. After trying several I settled on the mustang and quickly discovered that what I though was comfortable on the stock seat did not come close to the mustang. The really important thing was my wife loved it. When I sold that bike and bought my current WG the first thing my wife said was "order a mustang seat for this one TODAY"
I think it really depends on what sort of riding you do... Are you looking for something more comfortable than a pillion for around town riding and maybe an occasional day trip, or are you looking for something to provide maximum comfort for long trips? Is comfort more important than style, or is there a certain look you would like to maintain with as much comfort as possible?
I appreciate the Input so far. I am so new to the Harley motorcycle stuff it's scary. I'm looking for something with comfort, something that looks decent not really a concern and mostly I do around town stuff for now. Don't really think ill ever get into riding hundreds of miles until I get used to the bike. Put it this way, anything other than the stock wide glide seat will be an upgrade, that thing is like a brick compared to some of my buddies bikes lol

The Harley Sundowner seat is great for driver and passenger. I has one on my Road King. Kind of odd looking on a Dyna as it is pretty large, but very comfy.
My 2 up seat is a Saddleman Explorer.. Me and the GF both prefer it over the Mustang seat we tried on there. I prefer a firmer seat which the Saddleman is compared to the Mustang...... Your butt may vary!!
I put on a sundowner seat on the FXD when we were taking longer rides with a larger backrest pad on the short sissy bar. Happy wife, happy life. Now the Road Glide Ultra is the touring bike.
