Cheapest bottom mount headlight setup for changing out FXDL bars
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
bottom mount buckets are easy to come by on flea bay. I bought one cheap for my 14 lowrider when i changed risers. Also the hole is already in the lower tree or at least it was on mine. It just has a small plug in it.
emp, did you have the small visor style headlight like on new Low Rider and older Super Glide? I have an 04 FXDI and I hate that eFF'n visor over the light.
Yes, I had the visor, the stock 14 fxdl set up. I bought the dk relo kit and and you reuse the stock headlight, but you remove it from visor.
Nice, thanks. any pix of how it came out? Easy? I was looking at their site for a install PFD but they don't have one. My 04 doesn't have the hole in the lower triple tree.

I used the DK kit as well. Good stuff with loads of adjustability. You could make the same thing yourself if you really wanted too, but my en result wouldn't be as good as what DK produces.
I believe 04 & 05 were the only 2 years that all the models had the visor except the Wide Glide. I'm not to worried bout drilling, I'd pull the trees and do it at work but I don't have the shop space to tie it up.
