Hello again, I'm just trying to figure out the best option for a detachable passenger backrest for my '95 FXDWG. I have the Mustang driver/passenger seat.

I would like to buy a new or good used detachable backrest that is a little higher than my existing fixed backrest and potentially matches the Mustang a little better.

You can take off the sissy bar you have from the sidplates and replace it with a taller one. Maybe a new pad as well. But that will be your cheapest option. Unless you find a used one with sideplates on ebay.
