Default Ride observations

Took Robert for a cruise yesterday. 360 mile round trip on back roads (stayed off interstate). The more I rode the smooother the ride. More than enuf power to pass and no squirming on grooved out hiways. Longest trip so far and it was an awesome ride. Mini apes were comfortable but my throttle hand seemed to get a little numb for some reason. May go to some foam grips. Wasnt sure about it as a tourer, but while at the dealership(reason for ride, hehe) picked up a medium tour bag for stowing away some essentials. Good excuse eh? After this ride my thoughts are, I made the right choice! Dyna all the way.

I used to get numb after about an hour and a half. I changed to the Kuryakyn Iso grips and that went away.

I use a throttle mate to shake off the hand now and then.

when i'm on the freeway for long periods of time i usually set my little screw thingy (proper nomenclature for sure) on the throttle and just drop my hands. as long as i'm not in traffic and its not windy out.

I love the Iso-grips... I'd recommend them to anyone.

Guess I need to learn how to use my throttle lock, but it just feels weird with my left hand steering. Dont have a problem with one handed throttle side steering tho.
