The one flaw on an otherwise perfect machine.
I agree, more chrome would look nice or even black caliper mounts.

Dude you always sell yourself short. You have one of the best rides on this site! It's not a garage queen. It's gets ridden and ridden hard. I love your scoot!

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Sure isn't the prettiest or the fastest, but I beat on it like it owes me money, and it just keeps on chugging along. Hoping to get suspension and camchest sorted this year, then I'll be happy...for a while lol.

Just got done with the Laughlin run last weekend - OC to Laughlin and back. Aside from the godforsaken badlander seat, which will be getting replaced shortly, handled it like a dream. Love a bike I can ride for 300 miles or thrash on the city streets.

Sportsters are heavier than a lot of scramblers. It's all relative.
Just get yourself a smaller bike if you have trouble handling a Dyna's extra girth.
i have both, play your position. i'm gonna talk but, you don't have to listen... put me on block. dig?

you are clearly only reading what you want anyway... i didn't bring up the scrambler stuff

I hear ya. I just goofed around town and put about 100 miles on mine then a family emergency came up and ended up riding to my parents to check on them. I ended up putting about 400 miles in yesterday. There are not many bikes capable of that.

You seem to whine a lot about dyna's. You know there's a sportster forum where you can extol the virtues of the sporty right?
I don't block people.

Default Sportster's handling VS Dyna Wideglide

Never rode a sportster, what is the difference on the road the way it handles compared to a Dyna?
