Easy big guy I didnt mean to imply yours was a passive agressive statement. More the bike felt big and goofy 'cause of your stature. Where someone else might be better equiped to handle a Dyna.
OP dyna's are great riding after you tailor themto your style.

The Low Rider is the bike that had everything I wanted. Not into baggers or softails. Did not want a Sportster or Street.

I couldn't agree more. One of the best looking motorcycles to ever roll off the MOCO assembly line. But please.... PLEASE, do something with that rear caliper mount!!!! It looks like pigeon $hit on the Virgin Mary!

The one flaw on an otherwise perfect machine.

So is there a good bit more vibration in the Dyna's compared to the touring bikes?

Default just my 02 cents

you buy a Dyna for simplicity and purists reasons. In memory of the way motorcycling was in the 60's - 70's. That being said, really consider 03 and earlier. I wont go into all the reasons why, just do it! and don't finance some $20k dollar Dyna low, fat, switch or whatever they call them just to get the feeling your looking for. Remember, simple, pure and cheap and it will be one of your favorite bikes guaranteed.

As one that rode in the 60's and 70' see your point to be sure why pretty happy with my 05 Carbed Super Glide .. The Price was definitely right as well for it and after 2,000 + Miles Just as Happy as if it were a New One , perhaps more so ..
