I hope I'm not asking and old question here, but l've got a '09 Dyna w/ 96" engine. I broke the exhaust studs off from the front head. Then I tried it drill it in place and F'ed it up. I'm going to pull and hope the machine shop can save me. I've been looking into getting a used replacement head. HERE'S MY QUESTION! I've got a 17192-08A front head, all I can find are 17192-06* heads. I've heard they are are interchangeable but there are differences in the motor mount bolts. I need some insight on what models or casting numbers I can scavanged from.

Yes. Just get 06-up heads. They can even be touring
