Howdy all! I have a '15 Fat Bob and LOVE it. Except for the rear fender tag mount. Has anyone chopped theirs and relocated the tag? I did a search and came up empty. Any help is appreciated.

 

there are a few folks that have done it, and I used to have a link to the page, but cant find it now. Anyways, its fairly involved, requiring removal of the inner fender lining and chopping from there... Need to be careful because that inner fender lining is what helps hold the taillight in, so any damage and you'll be SOL.

Having said that, Im going to try and get mine done this summer sometime, as i hate it as well.

 

Thanks jmay86.I was looking at it and kinda came to the same conclusion. It looks like the liner will have to be removed, trimmed, and replaced. When you do yours, be sure to post some pics. I will do the same if I do mine as well. Good luck! I think it will look great!
