Quick release conversion kit
Recently purchased my 2009 Fat Bob and it came with HD Rigid Locking Leather Saddlebags, but they are bolted on. The few times I have taken them off it is a pain in the *** to get them back on and get a bolt to start threading without the bracket pushing out. I want to change to quick release and have been researching it but wanted to see what the knowledge on this forum could give me. I also have detachable sissy bar. I don't think the bolts I have now are original because they are not stainless. If I take them out they don't work with just the sissy bar alone and no saddlebags. UGH!!!

Just bought/installed LeatherPro retro bags. The bags came with the hardware and installed in 30 minutes or so. They remove in less than a minute. Here's how the mounting studs look:
The large plastic washer is for the (also detachable) sissy bar.
This is the locking mechanism. Lift the lever and it pops right off, leaving only the studs on the bike:
