Save my butt!!!

I'm 6'5'' and 280 pounds and my seat on my '14 SG Custom is not working for me. For guys with Mustang Seats, would you recommend the Vintage or the Vintage Wide. I can't go 50 miles without pain. Any other seats I should be looking at? I want to be able to go 100 miles and still be able to walk. Thanks in advance for your help and opinions!

I'm only 5'10' 190 but had the exact same issue with the seat on my 2011 FXDC. Saddleman RS Explorer was my answer and it has been awesome for up to 3 straight hours of use so far with absolutely zero discomfort. So much so I never even had to think about it on that 3 hour trip.

I'm 6'6" 250lbs and went with the c&c fastback and like it. I didn't like any of the solo seats that I tried, and I like the look of the fastback so I decided to try it out and I'm glad I did.

With your personal dimensions and the fact that you are specifically looking to alleviate pain, I strongly recommend the Vintage Wide. I have been in the same boat as you, and the wide made a night-and-day difference. However, be aware that it will likely change your riding position a bit, moving you a little higher and back on the bike.
