tired of my feet vibrating off the pegs when i wear sneakers, was thinking about these bear trap pegs http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/SGS-...DK-SGS-BTF.htm anyone use them or something similar. hate them? love them?
Yeah, same problem with forwards no matter what boot/shoe I wore. Even leg fatigue from trying to keep my feet up there.
I went with foot-peg Stirrups,, with the heel finally supported, problem solved. https://www.denniskirk.com/search/stirrups.q.
Shop around,,
I have a slightly different version (also from DK). I love mine. Have them set so that they float but only when weight is applied (not free-spinning). I've had mine for just over 2 years and am totally happy.
My original DK pegs were great, set to spin with weight applied.
Broke that pair a month back (car got a little close to me, I was very lucky to get out of it with just a broken peg).
I ordered a replacement set, still DK but a slightly different style, they come out a little too far for my taste (very easy to drag, I'll run them til they're worn down to much from dragging then look at other options).
Regarding traction for your feet, the DKs are great.
I love my DK bear traps. Have had them on two bikes, and mine are set to free spin as it makes it easier to adjust my foot to shift.
Ive had a ton of compliments on them as well as they look bad@ss.
