Both Bikes are Second Owner Bikes. The 02 is Carb'ed and 05 is EFI. I think $4000 is a Good Price for either. Thanks for your Input and Valued Advice.

Go with the '05. I'm an old dude, and I most likely will never have another carb'ed motorcycle, or car for that matter. The extras are a nice benefit to.

I don't see how a bone stock 2002 SG and a 2005 SG can be the same price. I also wonder how you would need new tires at 10,000. I changed my SG tires at 18,000 and were still were safe. I wanted to replace the rear at 16,000 but I waited to do both same time. 4000.00 for a 2002 is cheap too.

The tires were 11 years old.

So you can have a 3 year newer bike with less miles and extras for the same price? Why is this a question?

$4K for either is a good buy. If you like what's been done buy the one with the upgrades, if not, buy the blank canvas.

I already have both, the 02 (carbed) has a 95" kit with cams and has an interesting lope and good response. My 05 L/R is EFI and is a strong bike. One thing with 05's, they had a valve guide seal issue. The bikes used a lot of oil and the seals had to be changed out. Mine were on HD's dime, heads come off. Buy them both.
