I think I do it just to see the reactions I normally wear Bohn armor under my leather pants and jackets but I do trot out that subdued one piece and wear it. I just can't bring myself to wear my other one piece suit, that Alpinestars is way too colorful; it would be like trying to divide by zero

Personally, I prefer my Fox Creek Grayson jacket with my Ten Year hoodie under it. The heavy leather seems to actually block some of the wind pressure at high speed. The northern California afternoons become way to warm for such a jacket, so I have been finding myself with only a hoodie on later in the morning / afternoons.

Last week I stopped in at my local indie shop, and had a chance to try on a Highway 21 Gearhead jacket. Looks wise, I really liked it... Just like a Dickies Ike jacket. The hoodie is removable, and the armor is better than having only my hoodie on. The jacket was snug, yet comfortable.

The Fly, and the OP's hoodie looks like good options as well.

Hell Ride Apparel & Customs make some excellent kevlar hoodies and shirts. They are New Zealand based but ship worldwide. Note that prices on their site are in NZ$ - 1.4 of them to 1 USD

again.... in addition to the removable armor, its also fully lined with kevlar.... for $120. I've never found anything this quality for that low a price. speed and strength is cool, but i don't care for giant logos across the back.

yes, I'm sure there are guys who ride in full leathers 24/7. much like 30 foot anacondas, I've never come across one, but i trust they do actually exist. for the rest of the world, who maybe knows they should wear more gear but everyday decides to gamble a little bit, this is for us...

Mine was like $30 armored on sale.
There's that one as well - great wind blocking has armor but fits big.

I can appreciate the hoodie. I myself wear a leather jacket when 70 or below, flannel or t shirt when its hotter. the hoodie looks less showy then usual, which is a plus. My old man wears leather chaps, even when I rode with a wind chill below zero and tears in my eyes, I couldn't bring myself to wear chaps...light windbreaker pants are almost as good.

Ballistic nylon and kevlar; and a Glock 43 that was actually the point of the photograph and why I had my Lady take it, to prove you could carry a substantial piece and still ride a motorcycle. Took that image for a firearms forum I frequent but it works here on HDForums too
