Default lowering a dyna

Hi all, i have a 2004 superglide and was wondering if anyone who has lowered the rear has had to trim the fender. i recently installed a ness slam kit, the kit is only a 1in lowering kit that you use with stock shocks and my bike bottomed out and the fender hit the belt guard. thanks for any responses guys.

I' running a set of 1" lower shocks on the rear of my '04 FXD and never had a problem with the fender hitting anything. Got any pictures? Any other mods involved?

Whats dglide04

I'm lowered by 1.5 inches with progressive 412's and I have yet to bottom out. What exactly consists of a slammer kit?

a slam kit consist of new brackets that bolt in place of the original shock hole and the shock gets mounted further back. i have no other mods done to the bike and the shocks are stock and measure 12 5/8, i will try and take a pic tomorrow being its dark out already.
