That guy obviously prefers sports bikes! Puts you off buying used! I used to ride a Triumph Daytona with hardly any chicken strips left. The Wide Glide is pretty agile but when my boots scrape, that's low enough for me!

Same for me My boot heels are my 'feelers', when they touch the pegs are next. If you want more corner speed after that it's going to all be about correct corner entry and sight lines, proper throttle control, and good body position...
That type of riding is not for me, but I enjoy seeing someone else do it. Same with the guys on Dynaholics who show all of the wheelie action, and the Grim Company stunt riders.
Smooth and in control are not words I'd use to describe that ride.
Me either. As I said in the other thread on this subject, you can see him lose traction at least half a dozen times in the video if you look closely. And, as you say, not really that smooth. Fun to watch, though.
has he got skills, yes. has he ever been down at speed, i doubt it. let me lead him into a few turns and ill drop him like the menace deserves. i wont even turn around to assist in the recovery. you dont ride like that dressed like that. am i an *******"yes". but i have absolutely no patience for "luck at speed". if this idiot is as consistent as he thinks he is fast let him put a lap on the isle of man in a tank top, shorts and flip flops. moderators should pull this crappy vid so as not to influence other unaware riders with a lack of consequence. i base my response on more than a thousand laps on big willow, Keith code prodigy 1986, state of clear, and some time doing cartwheels on asphalt over a hundred miles an hour in the right gear and walking away. f'this guy.
