Default Moons MC Moonmaker 2, Who's running one?

Here we go again another led headlight thread. So I've tried searching through the forums and online and really can not find any testimonials for the Moonmaker 2 from Moons motorcycle culture. I've seen one maybe two for sale on the forums but no one has responded to other users that have asked why they are selling. Is it something they don't like is the main question I have.

I just ordered one last night since they had a good sale for the holiday weekend figuring this is the best price for any non-HD LED I've seen that is comparable to the new version of the daymakers.

With all that out of the way, before I install the light I would like to know is who is running one and what do you like or not like about it?

I've been looking at one myself, so please post your review once you have it installed.

Will do. I'm hoping to have it by the weekend. When I do install it I will provide pictures for comparison between that and the current LED bulb I have in the bucket now.

Still waiting to see if there are other users out there to hear their thoughts on the light.

I was originally looking at the first gen light but after the second gen came out I was reading the optics and high beam were better than the original. This is my area of concern. I like having my high beam throw the light down the road. I originally had the first gen HD daymaker on my old sporty and absolutely loved the high beam on it. That is until I took a rock to the lens and caused the lens to crack!

Okay guys I got the light today and could not wait to put it in! As far as shipping goes it shipped very fast and the packaging was very good!

Installation took me about 15 20 minutes. The only issue I had was it seemed to be a pretty tight fit trying to seat it all the way into the bucket. (No big deal) Now I have a visor mount bucket and I'm not sure if the clamp mount bucket is any deeper than a visor mount. As far as construction quality of the light goes I was very impressed with it. Very clean!

Now this is my initial review and I tried to get my garage as dark as I could. Hopefully later tonight I can take it out and give it a shot but I am not sure since there is a good possibility of thunderstorms in my area tonight. I also work nights so if I do not put up a few pictures at night tonight or tomorrow morning they will definitely be up by next Friday night.

With all that being said the LED bulb in my bucket I am comparing it to is the newer version of of the Cyron LED bulb that is rated for 2,500 lumens. The Moonmaker 2 is rated at a combined 4,100 lumens.

DISCLAIMER: I am in NO WAY affiliated with MOONS Motorcycle Culture nor do I advertise with and/for them. This is only my personal review and opinion of said product.

Stock Reflector Lens

Moonmaker 2

LED Bulb Low-Beam

LED Bulb High-Beam NOTE:The high-beam may look brighter but going down the road it just floods out and really does not put the light where I need it.

Moonmaker 2 Low-Beam

Moonmaker 2 High-Beam

Does it have a brand name stamped into it anywhere? I'm wondering if it's the Eagle lights brand that you can get on amazon for 10 bucks cheaper?

I did look all over the light but I could not find any type of branding on it even trying to peer through the lenses I could not find any brand marks on it.

I have one and it's great.

Money well spent. I think it's the same as my daymaker that I paid double the price of a moons. I had it on my last Dyna. Wish this was available on my last bike
