When I bought my new Low Rider, one of the perks I got, that I didn't even know about until after the deal was done, was FREE oil changes for life. Yep, FREE oil changes, including filter. However, this is with dino oil. So my question is, should I just forego the free changes and do my own oil changes with synthetic? Or let them do it, and run dino oil in my bike? Being that they're FREE, and I change my oil every 2500-3,000 miles, what are your thoughts on just staying with dino oil in a Stage One 103? This could save me a lot of $$$$ over the years. What would you do?

If you want something done right do it yourself. It's not their Master mechanic that will be doing your oil change but some kid learning how not to strip bolts.

Absolutely this! I wouldn't consider free oil changes at a dealership a binnie but rather an annoyance and a source concern. No one will ever care for my motorcycles like I will and I enjoy that garage time, that bonding, and knowing it's without question exactly right. If my ride were in a dealer service bay I'd pace the floor like an expectant father and then I'd still go back in and check everything they'd done. Not worth it to me
Nothing wrong with dino in the engine, I've experimented with different synthetics and found the noise level increases were not worth the hopeful benefits of synthetics. I do use synthetics in the transmission and the primary but for the engine it's good old Valvoline VR1 SAE 50. I change it and clean my permanent oil filter every 2k miles; my Wide Glide loves that stuff!
Free oil changes is not any time you want to change it and with whatever you want to put in it (dino/synthetic) it is at the 1k, then the 5k's using the HD dino oil at least that is what my dealer did. I did the up ticks to the synthetic. Since it came with the deal I had them do it.
