I'd love to see where he could have gotten that for his bike...

OP - bike looks killer. Nothing good ever came without a little bit of elbow grease...lol

Well that sucks, i ordered some 12" wct-bars a few months ago and they just turned up.
Was thinking about putting them on in the next few weeks. Guess those plans are shattered.

On their website it says this:
Top Crossbar: 1 1/4" swaged (tapered) down to 1" diameter. Both sides have 1/2" holes punched for internal wiring. (Fits conventional controls) - Cross width is 28" across and has a 2 1/4" pullback. The throttle side tubing at 1" is honed out and notched for fly by wire The (2) - 3/4" holes in middle of the bar are made to be centered for the 3 1/2 spacing of the risers.

Is that a load of *****?

Ummm.... no. This bike kicks ***. An FXR would be bitchin' but I like what the MOCO is putting out these days. It is almost half the challenge of modding the new model and half making it what I want it. What's the point if there isn't a little bit if a challenge? LoL

Dude, I would call them if I were you. If those bars aren't notched (and I doubt they are) than you are going to do some pretty heavy modifying to make them work. Again, it was an oversight on my part WCTB is a great company and I have no real reason to talk trash about them based my two transactions with them.

I agree!! Idk how the hell he thinks that would work? Mini apes from a SB where the guy went from Dual disk front rotor ABS, to single disc without abs and sold the bars/cables on ebay?!?!?

I may not be a MOCO guru but I know bikes and did the research before buying.

Just got home after having a stress-out... opened up the handlebars box, the throttle side is indeed notched for throttle-by-wire.

Stress relief.

Guess you got a half-assed bar where they forgot to notch it

but i know how hard internal wired bars are to install even when it all go's right. i do respect mechs who do it right "once" regardless of the cost. im always trying to "just get it done" and ride. thanks for keeping my opinion meaningless! Respect

That's so weird that you guys are having this issue. I have a set of 12" Mxt bars that came notched for throttle by wire and i kind of wish they didn't. I want to use bar end turn signals at some point and do want the notches to interfere with mounting hardware
