First my question. Does anyone know what years 2up seat will fit a 16 street bob?


And my story.
I bought a 16 CVO RG about 3 months ago and I absolutely love the bike but its a big bike and my girlfriend rides a sportster so I've been looking for something smaller to do my small rides on. So I've been looking at soft tail springers, nightrain, and street bobs. On my way to a business meeting I stopped by a dealer to by a chip on the way by. They had a road glide there with the new 14" chiseled bars so I was checking those out and of course salesmen ask me if I needed any help. I asked what kind of deals they had on the new street bob. His reply was we need to move'm. So I told him to work up his best deal and call me.
Now honestly I'm just tire kicking. I mean I was planning on getting one but I was gonna wait till this winter because I figured they would be cheaper.
So the salesmen walks up to the lady that decides the deals and she ask me what I want to pay. This bikes msrp is $13,650 I think on Harleys website. I blurt out $10,000. Of course the salesman starts laughing as well do I because of course that's a lowball offer. She does her thing and comes back with a little over $12000 which is a normal sale price that I would expect. I say well write it down on a card and I'll get back with ya.
Then she says what's it going to take to get you on that bike today! I say I don't know, wasn't really planning on buying today. Then she says, IF I CAN GET YOU THAT BIKE FOR 10K ARE YOU GONNA WRITE ME A CHECK TODAY! Of course me and the salesman just look at each other in disbelief. He laughs and I'm like holy crap. I tell her 10k out the door and I'll cut you a check but there's no way you'll get that bike down that cheap. And here she comes with the paperwork for me to sign. 2016 street bob for 10k. The salesman and I couldn't believe it. I'm still in disbelief but I've got all the paperwork and I go pick her up Saturday.
Let the customizing begin..lol

 

DAYUM!!!!!! That's a smokin deal! I thought I got mine for cheap lol. The shop I bought my Bob from is taking 6k off of road glides right now, it's tempting.

 

My opinion you need both. If it was up to me I would have a garage full..lol

Awesome deal! As far as seat fitment. Do you know if they made any changes from 15 to the 16s? If not 06 and up seats will fit. 06 and up fit my '15 Street Bob.

An easy way to find out is go to Harley's website and shop for seats. Click a seat, click fitment and it should list all years that seat will fit.

 

13-16 are basically all the same bike. Frame wise, I believe you're good from 06+.

I am shaking my head in amazement over the deal you got! Now, you have a few K to get it how you want it.

 

Thanks for the help guys. I think a 06 and up will work. I am still shocked at the deal as well. 10k out the door. How could I say no. I rode her home today. 1hr 30min ride. I love her. Forward controls are first on the list.
