anyone running this tail light on a can bus bike? I just got mine in the mail and I cant wait to throw it on. I am reading that this light first all 99 and up bikes. How can that be if the newer bikes are can bus? says its direct plug and play...
You may have to get a load equalizer if they blink fast, I think the plug and play portion of it is its the same style plug in and not the earlier EVO style plug in.
Very interested to hear what comes up on this. I was looking at it last week, but decided to go with the Custom Dynamics... At double the price! I like the lower profile of this one, and still may decide to sell off my CD, and get this one... If the reviews come back ok.
I doubt you'll need an equalizer on the a 14 DL. The older bikes, yeah, probably.
im running this taillight on my 2015 dyna. was a direct plug and play. didn't require any equalizers or anything. just made a video yesterday of everything that i have on it including a few things from moonsmc. feel free to ask any questions about it.
Nice, I dig that tail light set up. I have their headlight and it works great. I'm leaning on trying one of their super bright rear LED tail light bulbs. I wish he would post better pics of the bulb when the light is on and when braking to determine how much the difference is between the two. For 20 bucks, might be worth it just to try.

i actually had the taillight bulb and the front turn signal bulbs that they sell a few months back. super bright but they did need a load equalizer which is why i switch to the integrated taillight and went with the custom dynamic front signals.
This is a sweet tail light. took 2 minutes to install. no load eq was needed, just had to do the learn procedure for the blinkers. its bright and looks awesome. I didnt remove my stock signals yet becuase I am still waiting for my quick attach brackets. This light was half the price of the custom dynamics and seems to work just as well. also has a lifetime warranty.
