So there's more to it than just a RR1, RR2. and RR3.

RR1 is what I believe too be the shortest of them all. the rear head pipe wraps around the cam chest, and the FFFer is louder than most people want. I hear some people have a little issue with tuning. Probably due to it being short.

RR2 actually comes in a couple different options. You have the version like mine, with unequal length pipes. It is semi upswept, but not much. Then you have the RR2 Mega Power. This is an equal length head pipe setup, with the rear head pipe again, curving around the came chest.

Then you have RR3, which is basically a RR2 Mega Power, but only available in Stainless.

Then, you have the RR2 B3, which is for high displacement, high HP motors.

I'll add photos soon.

Road Rage "2" B1 (sorry, last post said B3)

Road Rage III - It comes with a small head shield for the rear head pipe, the system is designed to showcase the beauty of the stainless welds.

Some systems are stepped, some are not. If you are concerned about dragging chit on turns, think twice before you go with a Mega Power system. I don't work for Bassani, so I may be slightly off with how I categorized all this.... So don't flame me too bad.

Personally, I like the version I have. I drag the peg way before I would hit the pipe. It's not too short, and the lesser upsweep is good because its not blasting exhaust directly into my FXDXT bags when I have them on.

My RR3 is stepped, stainless and loud. I scrape my pegs before the exhaust. The little heat shield that comes with is useless. The exhaust does get rid of a ton of heat since there is no cat.

Yeah, I actually think the heat shields are the issue when it comes to scraping. I haven't rad any reports of the RR3 scraping, just the Mega Power versions.

Their new website is www.bassanipipes.com

Way better than the one you were referring to, which is still live.

I just put the RR 2 Mega Power on my 2016 Street Bob. One word - LOUD.

The sound clips on You Tube aren't really a good representation of the exhaust sound. Plus, you will definitely have to use a fuel management system. That's a whole other discussion....

I use a Street Tuner but the bike will have to go back to the shop for some fine tuning. It pops and backfires on deceleration a bit too much for my liking.

Fit and finish seems ok. But only time will tell.

I did notice a loss of bottom end compared to the stock pipes. The dyno time should sort that out a bit, but shorter pipes do move the torque curve.

I met a guy who had a Sawicki on his Street Bob. Really like the sound but way too pricey! And long wait time! But he also had to do major retune to get it running right.

First thing to not that the RR1 was never made for the 06 up Dynas.. Also I assume since this is the Dyna form, we are discussing Dynas.. One thing everyone dismisses is that pipes for baggers (blech!) are different..

Here is pic of bassani road rage version 1..

It's an excellent pipe as it gives a nice power band.. Even on a 116.. It's not as loud as the short ones but I suspect the baffle in the same.. Part of it might be because the exit is further behind the rider.

FWIW you can't get this pipe any more.. I'd sure love to have a new one in SS.. Looking at the RR3 but they don't offer it with a long muffler. Still there are ways to quiet it down..

Thanks for the detailed info. Do you happen to know the weight of them?
Do you think the RR3 would blast the fxdxt bags?

I have no clue on weight, but my pipe had to be at least 1/2 the weight of the stock pipes. I would assume the Mega Power, and the shorter pipe are the same and or lighter.

I've seen several people run a Mega Power, and the RRIII (same pipe bend) with bags, and it seems to be ok. I believe b2inUT on the club style thread has the RRIII and FXDXT bags, so maybe hit him up on the combo. Garry didn't say it was a major problem, just that some have had issues. When I say some, I believe he said like 2-3 people. My pipe stops right before the lower heat shield on the bag, and it gets very warm, but not hot enough to where I can't place, and hold my hand on the heat shield.
