I have the Road Rage 2 B1 pipe and it performs & sounds great. If you have questions contact Bassani by phone, their tech dept will gladly explain differences and intended applications. Mine is the equal length stepped head pipe long version that ends right by the rear axle and has a slight upsweep. We do a lot of Bassani pipes at the dealer I work for and Bassani's tech dept has always been very helpful. For anyone leary of these because of clearing saddlebags I run Leatherworks 112+2 bags with easy brackets and when I mounted the brackets to the bags I just raised them a little and was able to get plenty of clearance so the exhaust doesn't blast the bag. The equal length versions like mine WILL scrape if you corner hard although if you're setting a dyna up to handle well I would assume longer shocks are in order and if that is the case then scraping probably wouldn't be a huge issue.
i just bought a road rage 2 off a guy on ebay... because it was so cheap. i just need a silver/chrome cap and some chrome heat shields... anyone, anyone... Bueller?
is this someone on the forum?
Cvaria. What shocks are you running? If they are longer than stock, do you have any problems with the bottom shock mount hitting the Bassani pipe when the suspension moves from compression to rebound? I have the stock length shocks on mine and it looks like it would touch the pipe.

Thanks.
it still hasn't shown up yet but, my shocks are the stock wide glides. i'll let you know once it's on. i haven't seen anyone say anything about shocks hitting pipes.

My stock FXDX shocks are 13.5" and the RR3 has clearance. However, I was concerned about it when I first installed the pipe, as it did look tight. I ended up putting a washer between the bike and the mounting brackets at each bolt, and everything is fine. No leaking, no clearance issues...
