Get the manual from the dealer. It's the most valuable item you can buy for your bike. For perspective, consider that a factory service manual for a '15 Silverado is in the $450 range.

I got the factory service, parts, and electrical manuals through Boardtracker when I first got the dyna. I have not needed to use the electrical manual yet, but the other two have been extremely helpful.
I just wish the binding on the factory manual would actually hold the pages together.
bring your manual into someplace like kinkos and have the binding cut then put it in a 3 ring binder, that way it will lay flat when you need to use it

Careful use of a band saw works for binding removal. Then insert each page into a plastic page protector with 3-ring holes. Add a binder and tab dividers and you've got a supremely functional and durable service reference.

Ok, seems some people still haven't gotten the word. HD has NEVER released their service manuals in digital format. Those offered on the net are illegal copies. We don't allow discussion or distribution of those on HD Forums. Doing so can be dealt with by the poster being banned.
