Must not be from Florida! We don't have garages here. We have these big rooms with big doors that could probably hold a car, but are used to store a bunch of junk that you brought with when you moved here from somewhere else. LOL.
Seriously, nice spaces you guys have there. It took me 2 years to clear my garage out. I did a major purge of said junk when my VP was at work. Next, I painted and trimmed out the garage in the same color scheme as the inside of our house. Then I found some nice used kitchen cabinetry off craigslist. That got painted, crown molded, then hung. I bought three heavy duty SS racks from Costco that were a deal and was able organize my boat/car/Harley stuff.
Someday, I would like to add that rubber matting to the floor. For now, it looks real good considering it functions as our laundry room, kitchen pantry, lawn equipment storage room, bicycle storage, and parking area for our Harley and Miata. I'll have to post some pics.
I can't remember who it is that has the monster tv and bike table but, that is a monster 'rarge. It's in the thug/club thread. Hood status is on the swing arm
My Garage is actually 3 bays, 1 is an enclosed workshop the other two are car ports. Its high enough to fit our ford transit 12 seater bus and I can fit both my bikes and the kids Pee wees in the workshop and still have enough room to swing a cat. It also has a decent loft area for storage, fridge, dart board, compressor, tools on the wall etc.
The plan is to enclose the middle bay and extend the workshop area, add a bike lift and make it the new bike workshop and the old section will become storage.
