Hello men, I'm looking at buying a 2003 Harley Low Rider FXDL. It has 28,000 miles on it, 1 owner, yep this guy bought it brand new. From the pics it looks really nice and I'm going to go look at it this weekend.
My question is, what could be wrong Mechanicly? What should I look for?
Great looking Low Rider, don't let the pitch "it's an anniversary model" go to your head. A lot of 2003's were built. It's a pretty solid motor. My question to the seller is "Do you have the repair bill to change the cam chain tensioners?" If not offer $800.00 less for the bike, those miles would concern me. Good luck with it.
2003 Harley Low Rider. (FXDL) One owner, clean cycle. Twin Cam 88. Its not new but in excellent shape. 28,200 miles. Have about 2K just in the wheels and matching sprocket. Most parts that can be chrome are. Have most all the take offs that will come with cycle. Clean TN title. Ready to Ride..... Call Brian
I talked with him on the phone. He want's 5700, I'm thinking 4700. Allot of the chrome on the bike is stock 2003. I don't think he needs the money and his garage is immaculate. So, I would think he took care of the bike.... Find out soon enough.
