Default Sputhe stabilizer question

Anyone purchased a Sputhe Positrac recently? I have been trying to get ahold of them via phone and email for days with no answer/response. Wondering if he's still in business.

I do know he was recently recovering from pneumonia. I was lucky enough to find out that Ramjet here in Phoenix stocked the Positrac. I do have to note however that even with the Positrac, my Low Rider S still dances a little on the highway above 70mph. I am kind of bummed about how this bike handles.

I'm surprised you have an issue with the S. Mine handles great no dancing or shaking whatsoever up to 110 (fast as i've taken it).

I am surprised to hear this. I wonder what is going on? I will say that mine is a bit more sure footed above 80 with the taller wheel/shorter rubber in the back. Likely a coincidence, but I never really had an issue, even with the stock tires and wheels. I played with the shocks until I was happy. Can you tell us more about what yours is doing?

If it's simply dancing on rain groves. Check tires, increase tire pressure and snug up the steering bearings a little.

I have increased the tire pressures but I have not done anything with steering neck bearings. It feels like I have a low rear tire. I don't ride with a tight grip. A lot of the time my hand is just resting on the grips with open fingers. The bike also pulls hard to the left if I let go of the bars. I absolutely cannot let go of the bars. It will not track straight. It has done this since I brought it home. I did check vertical alignment with a couple inclinometers on the frame and rotors and it is good. I haven't done a front to rear tracking alignment yet though. I also did not put any preload in when I installed the Positrac. The bike does track much better when the wife and I are riding somewhere. I did put one full turn of spring preload on the rear springs from stock just to help with load capacity when 2 up. I had the bike up to 120 mph the other day and it wiggles the whole time. It's kind of unnerving. I will say the Positrac helped a little but didn't eliminate the wiggle.

I went with the AlloyArt front and rear. They were not cheap nor that easy to install.I will say that they are a very well made product.I am running Night Dragons and i will tell you that at 70-90 mph in curves, she is solid,no wobble, only limits are ground clearance.

Have you tried taking it back to the dealer? Bike should still be under warranty..

No I haven't done that either...at least not for this issue. I guess I probably should....
