Voltage Regulators

So looking to replace mine because of a face palm moment while installing a crash bar. The three I'm looking at all list different amperages:

HD Part (74631-08A) is 38a ~$119
Drag Specialties (2112-0801) is 40a ~$119 (aluminum body)
Cycle Electric (CE-602-08) says "Kits produce 32A at 1,000 rpm and 50A at 2,500 rpm" ~$160

Just curious as to the advantage or disadvantage to changing the amperage. I know ghost just swapped to the cycle electrics one and I'm most likely going to go the same route but if there are any electrical experts that can offer any knowledge on it...

The amp rating is determined by your system stator rating. The 38A or 40A are going to be more than adequate if you have a stock stator. The 50A VR is overkill for stock.
