I've installed a Two Brothers exhaust on my 2017 Low Rider S. Does anyone know if the Vance and Hines Fuelpak FP3, part number 66005 is compatible with 2017? I can't find information online and V&H had me on hold for like 20 mins and no answer.
Why run a fuel pak on it get a real tuning module and do it right. Yes its all the same ecm and everything from 16 to 17. The 12mm ho2s are not designed to work under high loads or kpa's and fuel, fp3 does not allow use on wide bands to tune those areas so you will never get a complete tune on your bike and the price of the fp is a few dollars less then TTS. Do yourself and your bike a favor and dump the fuel pack get a better module and ride the hell out of that bike

Because I don't know how to use a TTS. I want something practical that is quick and easy to do. Thanks for your suggestion and information
I could understand that but there is a lot of info on how to use TTS on this site alone. TTS is very user friendly with great support and they know how a Harley ecm works better then the exhaust guys. Once you learn how to use the software it is very quick and easy to use and you get great results. Read TTS for Dummies by wizard of this site and you will blow thru tuning your bike and feel free to ask us guys that tune everyday. Then with TTS later on when you decide to do more work on your engine you will already have a understanding and be able to tune it again and actually tune all of the ecm needed to make your bike run right.
yup you can use the FP3 and use the map from the 2016 FXDLS, pick a similar pipe and then autotune if you like.
I hear you on the not knowing how to use another tuner. I will say having had the FP3 and now a PV2...
The FP3 is brilliant, simple and easy to use. Does the job well and with all the firmaware updates is not far behind any of the fully functional tuners out there. I'm not sure if Chris Neely is still working with them, but he was absolutely fantastic when I had mine and I was pushing the boundaries (at the time) of its functionalities.
If you don't see yourself doing any major engine work, sticking with exhaust, AC, and maybe cams at some point the FP3 is really a nice tool. Keep in mind that even though it's a fully functional flash tuner, that if you ever wanted to take it to a proper Dyno professional that they probably would not use it to tune your bike.
If you see yourself doing more engine work at some point or getting a professional tune, do yourself a favor and get a Power Vision or TTS. The PV2 is just as easy as the FP3 for the most part, and more versatile (but more expensive).
After I changed cams, I wanted to make sure the FP3 cam flash and auto tune was good. It was surprisingly close to what he dialed in. He did pick up a bit of HP and torque, and cleaned up the low RPM somewhat, so I think it's still worth paying a good dyno guy even with auto tune.
Agreed, I also had someone who was willing to use the FP3 and tune with it. But since it doesn't log data it took much longer swapping back and forth, and then having me make the changes cell by cell. You're right though in that the auto tune was surprisingly close.
Unfortunately 99% of tuners will not use the fp3 yet. Again, it really depends on your end goals for modification.
