1993 Dyna Wide Glide (80 Evo vs. 88 Twin Cam)
Afternoon, friends.
I'm interested in an older Dyna and in particular, the 80 inch Evo motor. Found one selling at a dealer for 4699 and wanted your take on the value-to-dollar for this bike at that price. And (without starting a forum war) if you think the Evo's really are better than the so called Twinkies.
I'm not biased, have ridden both the 88 Twin Cam B, the 88 Twin Cam unbalanced and an Evo 1200 on my Sporty. But I'm most interested in the mechanical benefits of the older Evo big twin. Seems many are diehard fans and supposedly easier to wrench myself.
Any thoughts?
