I recently just changed mine. When I bought my low rider it had the kuryakyn isos, which I'm guessing is what you have on there now or something like it since they were chrome with the rubber strips. They were okay, but whoever had the bike before me either didn't put them on right or the glue just wore out and the grip slid loose from the part that is attached to the cables under the switch housing. The guy put on the iso footpegs and stirrups as well. I'm conflicted on changing the pegs because I don't like the looks of the isos, but I like the stirrups. Anyway, I ended up just biting the bullet and getting the HD Nostalgic grips. I was looking at those anyway for a small winter project, but the opportunity presented itself early. They're about $70 but they were better quality than any of the aftermarket ones that I looked at. They felt a lot better for my hands because they have the bulge in the middle. I feel like I have better control over the bike. I know they're not the cheapest grips out there, but they're a better long term solution. No glue and no headaches because the switch housings hold them on. You'll have to re adjust your throttle and return cables because you have to loosen them to get the throttle on, but they seem to be well made, and you''re sort of killing two birds with one stone by making sure your cables are properly adjusted. Took me about 20 minutes and that was me taking my time with it.

I don't think my 2006 dyna had a throttle tube. I just assumed you had to get grips that already had the thing. Look at that, I learned something today.

Anyway, I'm just looking for basic grips that don't cost $100 like the HD Live to Ride ones. Any suggestions ?
I'm putting these on in the next few months:

I must be doing something right...I have purchased two pairs of Kuryakyn ISO grips off of flea-bay for way less than $100, shipped, including the throttle boss. One pair for me a few years back, one pair for my son about a year or so ago, and I picked up another pair for me this past spring...for something like $50 off of Amazon.
