Default Street Bob Headlight Options

I was just looking at random pictures of bikes and saw a night train with a black longer looking headlight and had some questions. Are stock night train headlights longer than stock street bob head lights? If so, will it bolt up to a street bob front end?

I have a quick detach windscreen on my FXDB and do not like the placement of the stock head light when the screen is on.

Chances are the Night Train you saw had an aftermarket headlight bucket on it. All of Harley's 5 3/4" headlights are the same. If you don't like how yours sits, check out the aftermarket, there are tons of options. And don't forget that you can change the mounting blocks as well to change the position of the headlight.

Changing the mounting block: is there different blocks available or do you need to simply fab a new block? I had picked up some steel strap to bolt to the stock block then bolt the headlight to the strap, just haven't gotten around to cutting a drilling the strap.

Tons of mounting block options available in the aftermarket. A quick Google search will get you more than you can think of. I got one that moved the headlight out 2"and down 1" so that my cafe fairing sat where I wanted it.

How much longer is the trim ring? I would like to move my headlight about 2" forward. That would get the stock ring just in front of the quick release windscreen.
