Tightened the steering nut about 1/3 turn. Went over and double checked the tightness of my front and rear axles, rear adjusters, upper and lower motor mounts, and pinch bolts. Everything was relatively tight and is now "good and tight" I use Loctite red every time I wrench on it and do most all of my own wrenching.

Really want to do the suspension upgrade.Later when I get some extra $$

The wobble is caused by the swingarm.Baggers have the same problem. The swingarm is mounted to the back of the transmission, using plastic bushings instead of bearings. The trans/engine is rubber mount, so the flex is transferred to the swing arm. Itsgonna cost. Check out the stabilizers like Sputhe Engineering, couple of others, need to do a search.A fork brace up front helps also. I put a fork brace, Race Tech springs/oilup front, and Progressive Suspension 440 shocks in back. Good shocks in back go a long way to support the back end.I ride the Rockies, many long fast sweepers. The shocks almost eliminate any weaving. Very little wooble left. Does triple digit speeds just fine.

Screw that manual, I had the same thing goin on till I started addin air then it went away.

I am runnin just below 40 in the front and 38 in the rear.

I can do smooth highway sweepers at 90 then the wiggle starts comin on.

I would like to install 12" Prog. 412 HD's and Prog. springs with SE fork fluid up front. I wonder if that would help cure it?

Sounds like mayby the stock supsension is abit too soft for that kind of riding?

Just put the SE fork oil in a couple weeks ago and it is a little stiffer but not a lot.

I had the same problem with my 05 WG. I put a fork brace on it and it took care of the problem. Didn't matter if the windshield was on or not.

Ride Safe!!
