I've read a few threads that they stick out too far and look horrible.
First, lose the reflectors, then we'll talk....
Heck, I relocated my front turn signals right into a box in my garage in 1997...been there ever since.

I used the kuryakyn clamps with 1" spacers. I have since move them below the lower triple tree so I could side the windshied all the way down.
I barrowed a pic of someone else's HD relocation kit.

i foundthis in the under 50 bux thread

RE: HOW TO - under fifty bux - 1/6/2008 9:17:07 AM
I saw this on a bike yesterday and did it this morning. After putting the HD wing kit on I really didn't like how it made the front end look, and I like the closer fit of Kuriyakan but also didn't want a clamp on my tube. So by chance, unless someone already posted this and I missed it, is my no or little dough blinker mod.

First, the wing.

The ball receptacle from the handle bar turn signal. Everyone has at least one, and I got a used one for free from a local shop. They can be painted black and bought chrome. You just have to drill it out a little.

This is mounted straight, but there is enough room to angle it up or down some. I angled mine up.

This show's the difference.

Both mounted.

I think it looks good with the headlamp.

And finished. About an hour or so without breaks.

Skip,

Where'd you get the one inch spacers? Are they chrome?

Thanks,
Rick

i dont know if it was just me, but the HD relo kit was a pain in the **** to install! and not to mentioned how far they stuck out. the one good thing was if the bike went down, they would hit first and save the bike!

But I've read a few threads that they stick out too far and look horrible.

Does anyone have the HD front signal kit (for mounting on the triple trees) and how do you like it?
You've got to decide what you want more...a windshield or front turn signals that don't look ridiculous? I used to have the HD kit pictured below & yes...it does look EXTREMELY ridiculous in my opinion. I then went with the Kury fork clamps & like it a whole heck of alot better (see pic below)! But, I've heard that if you go with the Kury clamps that a windshield won't fit? Might want to call Kuryakyn & confirm this? But my honest opinion...the HD kit is absolutely horrendous & makes the front of your bike look silly with those "wings" that look like they belong on a jap bike! Again, just my opinion. Good luck!

IMHO the Kuryakyn kits keep the signals tighter into the forks & look a WHOLE lot cleaner. You will most likely have to buy a 1/4 or 3/8 " chrome spacer to get the signals sapced properly, but that's a little thing.
